The incident unfolded when a call center employee activated a fan in the Mamta Vahan cell. The fan malfunctioned, causing a short circuit and subsequently catching fire. This event caused immediate concern. Nonetheless, hospital staff promptly responded and extinguished the flames. According to Dr. Rajmohan Khalkho, the Civil Surgeon, a fire was reported within the hospital’s call center. He confirmed that the fire was contained and that no significant damage was reported.
