    A severe road accident unfolded in Chhatarmandu, Ramgarh, on Monday, claiming the lives of three people. A bus carrying numerous passengers collided with a truck transporting coal. In addition to the fatalities, approximately 24 individuals sustained injuries. Six of the injured are in serious condition. The deceased have been identified as Manish Kumar, the truck driver from Bengavari Keredari, Hazaribag, and Vilaso Devi from Jenamod, Bokaro. Following preliminary treatment, over half a dozen injured passengers were referred to RIMS from Sadar Hospital for advanced medical care. Ramgarh police swiftly reached the site after receiving information about the incident and launched rescue efforts.

    As per initial accounts, the bus, Sri Gokul (JH 10 BM 8219), was traveling from Dhanbad towards Ramgarh. The bus driver attempted to overtake a vehicle, leading to a collision with a coal-laden truck (JH 13 C 0232) coming from the opposite direction. The impact resulted in the immediate death of the truck driver and a female passenger.
