Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rajkumar Rai was murdered in Patna on Wednesday night, prompting a police investigation. The shooting took place around 10 PM in lane number seventeen, in front of Rajendra Nagar Terminal. The police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and probing every aspect of the case. Rai, also known by the alias Ala Rai, was a politically active figure who was also involved in the buying and selling of land. After being shot, he entered a shop but died en route to the hospital. Police recovered six bullet shells from the crime scene.
