Gauri Pradhan, a Marathi native, embarked on her modeling journey at the age of 18, which led to TV commercials. These commercials paved the way for her meeting with Hiten Tejwani. They developed a relationship and eventually married. Their journey began with a soap advertisement. Ekta Kapoor, who was looking for the lead pair for her serial ‘Kutumb,’ noticed the couple. After about six months, Kapoor invited Hiten and Gauri to her office, where they met again. They accepted Kapoor’s offer, and ‘Kutumb’ went on air in 2001. During the shoots, Gauri would often read books, while Hiten was known for his jovial nature, socializing with others.
Their marriage in 2004 was celebrated with Sindhi traditions. In 2009, the couple welcomed twins, a son and a daughter, into their family. Today, nearly two decades after their wedding, the bond between Hiten and Gauri remains as strong as ever. Currently, they are reprising their roles as Karan and Nandini in ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’.
