Bheemla Nayak opened to blended critiques within the ultimate week of February. In his evaluation, indianexpress.com’s Manoj Kumar wrote, “The Telugu remake is all about one guy and one guy only- Bheemla Nayak aka Pawan Kalyan. And who’s Bheemla Nayak? The movie doesn’t even resolution that totally. There’s a backstory for Bheemla Nayak and it doesn’t inform a lot about him. The flashback solely demonstrates that Bheemla Nayak approach industry. He’s the saviour of the deficient, girls and kids, and a nightmare to dangerous males. Within the aforementioned scene, we see Bheemla Nayak pluck an absolutely grown guy’s fingers from his shoulder socket together with his naked fingers as though it’s a strand of hair.”

Previous in an interview, director Saagar Okay Chandra mentioned that the primary problem of creating the remake was once to create a bigger than existence persona for Pawan Kalyan.

“When Trivikram and I have been discussing adapting the movie in Telugu, the primary problem was once to make Biju Menon’s persona greater than existence and make certain that the movie revolved round him. The nature was once performed through Pawan Kalyan in Telugu. In Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Koshi’s persona was once extra vital. So, in Telugu, one of those paradigm shift took place. We then needed to crunch a 3-hour movie into not up to 2 hours half-hour. The unique model was once a procedural movie, with lots of the emotional outburst restricted to the ultimate half-hour. It’s tough to stay the target audience engaged for part an hour with out exchange within the arc. To push up the pace, we made many adjustments,” he mentioned.
