Foxconn and its client Apple are working to increase iPhone production in India to mitigate the impact of tariffs imposed by former US President Donald Trump on Chinese goods. Tariffs are currently on hold due to negotiations over a trade agreement between Beijing and Washington. The majority of iPhones manufactured by Foxconn for Apple are assembled in China.
