A CRPF jawan in Sukma’s Injram area has died by suicide after shooting himself. The event has caused considerable consternation. Police officials arrived promptly at the scene, and the body was sent for a post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death, with an inquiry now underway.
The incident is reported to have occurred around 10:30 PM last night. Nilesh Kumar Garg, a jawan from the 219th Battalion of the CRPF, shot himself with his service rifle. The deceased was a resident of Katni, Madhya Pradesh.
Reports indicate a six-page suicide note was also found. CRPF authorities are currently investigating.
