Mridul continued, “Understand my emotions. If I like a girl, it doesn’t matter who she talks to, but she shouldn’t talk to others the way she talks to me. There should be some difference between us and the others.” These words did not sit well with Natalia. Specifically, when Mridul said, “You are my friend, but the other girls in the house are my sisters. You are different from them.” This made it clear that Mridul was anticipating a special type of friendship with Natalia, leading to her displeasure. Mridul concluded his statement by saying, “If you don’t want this relationship, it’s okay, but if we continue like this, then keep our friendship separate.
