Delhi, after experiencing a month of heavy rain, anticipates a change in weather this week, with the IMD forecasting thundershowers on Monday. Maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 35°C and 24°C. The Yamuna River’s water levels have decreased after exceeding the danger mark, although floodplains remain partially submerged. Delhi’s air quality is currently satisfactory, but is expected to become moderate by Monday. Northern India is witnessing a decrease in heavy rainfall, offering some relief to affected regions. Gujarat is facing a contrasting monsoon, with some areas flooded and others dry. A depression forming over North Gujarat has prompted the IMD to issue alerts. Fishermen are advised to avoid going to sea. Rescue efforts are underway, supported by NDRF and SDRF teams. Punjab is dealing with severe flooding, with the Indian Army providing assistance. The IMD has issued alerts for several states, including East Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.
