Raipur, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic accident during the Ganesh Visarjan procession at Jurudand in Bagicha block of Jashpur district, in which three people died and several others were injured.
The Chief Minister said that I am saddened by this heart-wrenching incident. I pray to God for the peace of the departed souls and the speedy recovery of the injured. Expressing sympathy to the bereaved families, he said that in this hour of grief, the Chhattisgarh government stands with the families of the deceased and the injured.
The Chief Minister, as soon as he received information about the incident, directed the district administration to ensure proper medical arrangements and necessary help for the injured. He said that there should be no shortage of treatment for any injured person and everyone should be provided with immediate and proper treatment.
The state government has approved financial assistance of five lakh rupees each to the families of the three deceased persons in this accident and fifty-fifty thousand rupees to the injured. The Chief Minister said that the administration should continuously maintain contact with the affected families and provide them with all possible assistance.
