Modi shared images of these interactions on X, noting, “Interactions in Tianjin continue! Exchanging perspectives with President Putin and President Xi during the SCO Summit.” The photographs revealed a cordial atmosphere, with Modi and Putin exchanging greetings with smiles and hugs. They were also seen walking together towards Xi. The three leaders shared a few light remarks before the plenary session and then moved towards the stage for a group photo. A bilateral meeting between PM Modi and President Putin was scheduled after the plenary session. Additionally, PM Modi and President Xi Jinping held bilateral talks, where they expressed satisfaction with the advancements in their bilateral ties since their meeting in Kazan during the BRICS Summit in October 2024.
