Following a directive from the Supreme Court, the West Bengal School Service Commission has released the names of 1,804 candidates deemed ineligible in the context of the school jobs scam. The Supreme Court had previously ordered the Commission to make public the list of candidates involved in the cash-for-jobs scandal. The West Bengal Central SSC announced in a notice that it was adhering to the Supreme Court’s order of August 28, 2025, related to the case of BEJOY BISWAS & ORS. Vs. STATE OF WEST BENGAL & ORS. The list includes candidates whose appointments were initially set aside by the High Court and subsequently upheld by the Supreme Court. The list is now available for public viewing on the West Bengal Central School Service Commission’s official website.
