Hero’s EV brand, Vida, has introduced the VX2 electric scooter, notable for its dual-battery system. This allows users to charge one battery while continuing to use the scooter with the other. The batteries are removable and can be charged using any standard power outlet.
The VX2 is offered in two variants: Go and Plus. The Go model is available from ₹99,490 ex-showroom, and the Plus model is priced at ₹1.10 lakh. The scooter is positioned to compete with the existing electric scooter market in India, rivaling options such as the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, and Ola.
