Prayagraj Film Set Violence: ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ Shoot Halted, Main Accused Arrested

Production on the Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan film ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh 2’ was abruptly halted in Prayagraj following an assault on the film crew by local residents. The incident, which occurred on August 27th, took place on Thornhill Road during a car sequence shoot. Zoheb Solapurwala, the production head from BR Chopra Films, was reportedly attacked by local individuals. An FIR was registered at the Civil Lines Police Station on August 28th, initiated by line producer Saurabh Tiwari. The main suspect, Meraj Ali, has been apprehended. Viral videos depict a heated exchange between locals and the film crew, culminating in a physical altercation. While some tried to defuse the situation, others joined the attack, leading to significant disruption on the set. The filmmakers are yet to issue an official statement about the event.
