    After a visit to Japan, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai arrived in Seoul to meet with representatives from the Korea International Trade Association (KITA). The discussions centered around bolstering economic ties, with a focus on investment, technological collaboration, and skill enhancement within Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai met with KITA Chairman Jin Sik Yoon and Vice President Kim Ki Hyun, leaders of South Korea’s largest trade organization. With over 77,000 members, KITA is a significant business platform in Asia. The Chief Minister detailed Chhattisgarh’s industrial policy (2024-30), the region’s natural resource advantages, and the skilled labor pool. The discussions covered potential for investment, technology transfer, and skill development initiatives. Sai emphasized the strong historical and cultural links between South Korea and Chhattisgarh. He believes the meeting will open doors for investment, technological cooperation, and skill development. These initiatives are expected to provide modern industry chances to the youth of Chhattisgarh, improving industrial growth. He underscored the government’s dedication to providing investors with a supportive environment, streamlined approvals, and the required infrastructure. Sai is optimistic that collaboration with KITA will significantly raise Chhattisgarh’s international profile. KITA’s leaders showed strong interest in Chhattisgarh’s investment-friendly policies and resources. Korean companies are enthusiastic about investing in the state, with solid partnerships planned. The Chief Minister also indicated that Chhattisgarh’s farmers, workers, and entrepreneurs would benefit, especially through job creation in sectors like food processing and renewable energy. Furthermore, technology transfer is expected to improve local industries’ quality and competitiveness. This collaboration should boost the state’s economy, with Chhattisgarh setting a new standard for self-reliance and global collaboration.
