Naxal Violence: Shikshadut Murdered in Sukma District

A disturbing event has taken place within the Jagargunda police station limits of Sukma. Naxalites have murdered a Shikshadut in Mandimarka, near Silger. The victim, Lakshman Barse, aged 30, was a resident of Pegdapalli village in Bijapur district. He was employed as an education messenger (Shikshadut) in Silger. Reports indicate that the Naxalites launched a fatal attack on Lakshman this evening using a sharp weapon, causing his immediate death. Family members who attempted to intervene were also assaulted. This incident has created a climate of fear throughout the area. Local police have confirmed the occurrence and will release a detailed statement soon. Security forces have initiated a search operation in the area. This heinous act once again exposes the escalating violent tactics employed by the Naxalites, leading to a growing sense of fear among the local populace.
