Tejashwi Yadav of the RJD advised Chirag Paswan to get married, labeling him a ‘Hanuman’ of a specific person and advocating for a focus on public issues. Rahul Gandhi, responding to Yadav’s comments, humorously acknowledged that the advice applied to him as well. The leaders were in Araria, Bihar, as part of a voter rights campaign. Yadav and Gandhi made these remarks at a joint press conference.

Yadav also questioned the impartiality of the Election Commission, pointing out a lack of transparency in procedures for vote counting and addressing grievances. He alleged the Election Commission was under the control of the BJP and criticized the introduction of a law in Parliament aimed at protecting election commissioners from investigation.
