There is speculation that Dream11 may withdraw from its sponsorship deal before the final year if the new bill is implemented. If the company terminates its agreement with the Indian board before the Asia Cup and the BCCI fails to secure a new deal, the Indian jersey might appear without any company logos during the Asia Cup. This could result in a loss of several crores for the BCCI. Under the current agreement, the BCCI receives 6 crore rupees from Dream11 for a bilateral (and Asia Cup) international match, while the amount is 2 crore for ICC tournaments, as the sponsor’s logo is placed on the sleeves rather than the chest.
