KOLKATA: The BJP on Friday named type dressmaker became MLA Agnimitra Paul because the birthday party candidate for the by-election to the Asansol Lok Sabha constituency to contest in opposition to Shatrughan Sinha of the Trinamool Congress.
For the by-poll to Ballygunje meeting seat in Kolkata, the BJP’s girls’s wing chief Keya Ghosh, a recognized face in tv panel discussions, has been nominated because the birthday party candidate. She was once pitted in opposition to former union minister and TMC candidate Babul Supriyo.
The names have been introduced via the BJP central management in Delhi, the birthday party’s West Bengal spokesperson Samik Bhattacharya instructed PTI. Through-polls in each seats might be hung on April 12 and votes might be counted on April 16.
