Commuters in Bihar experienced a train delay of roughly half an hour due to an unusual circumstance involving a dog. The incident happened in East Champaran on the Raxaul-Samastipur passenger train. A dog was found tied up inside the women’s compartment, which caused significant distress among the passengers. They evacuated the carriage due to their fear of the animal. The train manager was alerted, and RPF and station staff intervened. After the authorities sealed the compartment after the necessary procedures, the train could proceed. The dog was subsequently given to the Animal Welfare Board in Darbhanga by the DRM of Samastipur division.
