    Following the murder of Ramakant Yadav in Patna, authorities have apprehended another suspect. The arrest led to an encounter where the suspect sustained a gunshot wound to the leg. The incident occurred as the police were bringing Anshu Kumar to the location where he had hidden the firearm used in the killing. Kumar was arrested in Lucknow on August 10th. The victim, Ramakant Yadav, was involved in the sand mining business and was murdered near his home in the Ranitalab area on July 10th. The police statement indicates that Kumar attempted to escape custody when confronted with the recovery operation. Police opened fire, injuring him. Kumar is now receiving medical treatment, and his condition is stable. The weapon has been recovered, and Kumar is also facing charges in multiple other criminal cases. Two others have been arrested, and a juvenile has been detained in the ongoing investigation.
