The Jharkhand Legislative Assembly held a session to pay tribute to the late Ramdas Soren, the state’s Education Minister. Following his death on Friday night in Delhi, his body was brought to Ranchi on Saturday morning. The mortal remains were taken to the Assembly from the airport to allow members to offer their respects.
Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato expressed his sorrow at the passing of Ramdas Soren, stating his sudden departure had shocked everyone. He prayed for the departed soul to find peace and conveyed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family. He also expressed his hope that those close to him find strength in this difficult time.
The Leader of the Opposition, Babulal Marandi, expressed his grief over the death of Education Minister Ramdas Soren, stating it was a great loss to the state’s politics and society. He prayed for the departed soul’s peace and for the grieving family to have the strength to cope with their loss.
Several dignitaries paid their respects, including Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, State Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, former minister Mithilesh Thakur, Lok Sabha MP Joba Manjhi, Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Manjhi, Congress state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, former minister Badal Patralekh, Chief Secretary Alka Tiwari, and other officials.
