‘Superman’ Digital Release: James Gunn Explains the Timing

Following its theatrical run, ‘Superman,’ starring David Corenswet, is now available digitally. The film, which replaces Henry Cavill with Corenswet in the lead role, has been well-received. James Gunn attributed the film’s early digital availability to scheduling factors related to ‘Peacemaker.’ Gunn’s goal was to ensure that all interested viewers, regardless of their ability to visit a theater, could watch ‘Superman’ before the release of ‘Peacemaker’.
