Remembering Dishom Guru Shibu Soren: A People’s Hero

On the seventh day of the Shradh rituals for the late former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, people began gathering at his ancestral residence in Nemra to offer their respects. Recalling the personality and deeds of Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, people acknowledged his unparalleled contribution to the formation of the separate state of Jharkhand. The people of Jharkhand will remain indebted to him. Guruji dedicated his life to the upliftment of the tribal, poor, Dalit, exploited, and marginalized communities. The struggle, ideals, and path shown by the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren will always inspire the people of the state. Not only Jharkhand, but the entire country will always remember Guruji as a people’s leader.
