Raipur, August 10, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has paid homage to the late Minimat Ji, the first woman MP and social worker of Chhattisgarh, on her death anniversary. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Minimat Ji dedicated her entire life to the protection and upliftment of the rights of the deprived sections of society, women, Dalits and the poor.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Minimat Ji strongly raised her voice against social evils, child marriage, dowry system and evils like untouchability and made a remarkable contribution towards many important social reforms while in Parliament. Her working style always reflected service, simplicity and sensitivity.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Minimat Ji’s life is a unique example of struggle and service, which will continue to inspire future generations to work towards equality, justice and brotherhood in the society. He appealed to everyone that we should all adopt her ideals and contribute to the building of a just and inclusive society.
