At the ‘Vote Adhikaar Rally’ in Bengaluru’s Freedom Park, Rahul Gandhi leveled strong accusations against the Election Commission, alleging electoral fraud and manipulation. The Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition stated that these actions were a betrayal of the Constitution. The rally, which was attended by key Karnataka leaders including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, was organized to protest the alleged vote irregularities. Gandhi emphasized the Congress party’s efforts to protect the Indian constitution. He further cited instances of suspected electoral irregularities, particularly in the Maharashtra Assembly elections after the Lok Sabha polls. He claimed that there was a surprising increase in new voters during the assembly elections. Gandhi also pointed out the creation of alleged ‘fake votes’ to influence the Mahadevapura Assembly segment results. Gandhi directly accused the Election Commission of colluding with the BJP and aiding in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory. He presented this evidence in a detailed presentation at the Congress headquarters in Delhi. Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah voiced his agreement, urging the public to join the protest to protect their voting rights and prevent the manipulation of election outcomes.
