    Today, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is on a tour of Janjgir-Champa district, where he will preside over a meeting of the Scheduled Caste Development Authority in the Zilla Panchayat meeting hall. Before going to Janjgir-Champa, the Chief Minister engaged with the media at the helipad. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao, Minister Tankram Verma, and MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb were also present. During the media interaction, the Chief Minister provided information about the upcoming meeting. He stated that the Scheduled Caste Authority meeting is scheduled in Janjgir. MLA Khushwant Saheb serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Scheduled Caste Development Authority. Various topics will be discussed during the meeting, which will include the participation of multiple officials from the Scheduled Caste Development Authority. Additionally, he commented on Trump’s decision to increase tariffs, noting that this was unexpected. The Chhattisgarh government is actively working on mineral development, with the Chief Minister emphasizing the abundance of mineral resources in Chhattisgarh and the generation of royalties for the state through their extraction. Addressing the changes to the half electricity bill scheme, the Chief Minister stated that the state is moving towards providing free electricity. Under the Prime Minister’s Solar Free Electricity Scheme, subsidies are available from the Indian government for households, along with state subsidies, with a total cost of 108,000. The government is working towards securing bank financing to support this initiative.
