A robbery in Kanpur took an unexpected turn when the perpetrator was caught sleeping at the crime scene. The thief had broken into two houses in the Nazirabad police station area near the Marayampur railway line. The first target was Vinod Kumar’s home, where valuables were stolen after breaking into a cupboard. The thief then moved on to Anil Kumar’s house, committing a similar act. Weary from his activities, the thief decided to rest on a bed inside Anil’s home and fell asleep. The next morning, Anil Kumar was shocked to find the man in his house. He raised an alarm and neighbors responded by detaining the thief and contacting the authorities. Police arrived, arrested the individual, registered a case, and sent him to jail.
