A shocking kidnapping occurred in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on July 30th, involving a fifth-grade student. Police recovered the girl and apprehended the perpetrators. The primary culprit was a gym trainer and painting teacher burdened by debt. He planned the abduction with accomplices to extort a 10 lakh rupee ransom. The girl was kidnapped while en route to school in an e-rickshaw after the kidnappers rammed their car into the vehicle. The police alerted several districts and launched an intensive search. The kidnappers, unnerved by the police presence, abandoned the girl in Ramgarh district. Within two hours of the kidnapping, the police had recovered the child. Within six hours, six suspects were arrested. The police recovered the car used in the crime, a pistol, a country-made pistol, ammunition, and cash. The kidnappers were planning to take the girl to Bihar but abandoned the plan due to the police action.
