A tragic incident in Mungeli, Chhattisgarh, saw a son commit matricide and assault his father. The accused, Dinesh Kosle, is now in police custody. The incident occurred in Sarangpur. The 34-year-old, was reportedly involved in frequent disputes with his parents. On July 23rd, a disagreement escalated into violence. Dinesh attacked his sleeping mother, Devki Bai Kosle, fatally wounding her with multiple blows to the head using a heavy object. He then attacked his father, Samaru Kosle, with an axe, causing serious harm. The father was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police were notified, and Dinesh was arrested within a day. The police have recovered the weapons used in the crime.
