Raipur, July 23, 2025/ On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the state government is continuously taking quick decisions for the betterment of the education sector and in the interest of the teacher community. In this sequence, the School Education Department has issued promotion orders to 1227 lecturers (T cadre) teachers of various subjects today, July 23, 2025. The posting of these lecturers will be done through counseling. These subjects include major subjects like Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Political Science, History, Geography, Economics and Commerce. This decision reflects the government’s commitment, under which timely promotions and opportunities are being provided to the teachers of the state on the basis of their work, seniority and merit.
It is noteworthy that in the past one year, the School Education Department has completed the promotion process on about 7000 posts at the district and division level. Along with this, direct recruitment of 2621 assistant teachers (science laboratory) has been done through counseling, so that practical education in schools can be further strengthened.
Prior to this, promotion orders of about 2900 principals were also issued on April 30, 2025. In the coming days, the posting of promoted T cadre principals will also be done through counseling, so that proper arrangements can be ensured on the basis of transparency and place-requirement.
The case of E cadre principals is pending in the Hon’ble Court. Necessary action will be taken in a time-bound manner as per the decision of the Hon’ble Court.
