Prime Minister Modi launched a series of infrastructure and welfare projects in Bihar, including the launch of four Amrit Bharat trains. These initiatives, with a combined value of over ₹7,200 crore, are seen as a significant push for development in the state, especially with the Assembly elections approaching. The new train services will facilitate travel between key locations. In addition to the railway projects, the Prime Minister distributed benefits under various schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin and the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission. Key rail projects include advancements in signaling technology, track doubling, and infrastructure development for high-speed trains. These efforts aim to improve efficiency, reduce delays, and bolster connectivity across the state.
