Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai unveiled the ‘Chhattisgarh Anjor Vision@2047’ on July 17, marking a pivotal moment in the state’s developmental trajectory. Speaking at an event in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, the Chief Minister framed the document not merely as a compilation of words, but as a robust commitment and a clear pathway towards a self-reliant, prosperous, and developed Chhattisgarh. The vision is aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ initiative, aiming to propel Chhattisgarh among the top-tier developed states in India. The Chief Minister underscored that development thrives on visionary thinking, well-defined objectives, and broad-based public engagement. The document was also commended at a recent NITI Aayog meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi. This vision document is a symbol of collective aspiration, encompassing the dreams and resolutions of Chhattisgarh’s three crore residents, and has been crafted with the input of experts, governmental bodies, working groups, divisional-level public consultations, and citizen suggestions gathered through the ‘Mor Sapna Mor Viksit Chhattisgarh’ portal. Under Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership, India has become a beacon of global hope, and Chhattisgarh is poised to play a leading role in the nation’s advancement, with a zero-tolerance approach to terrorism and Naxalism. Key initiatives include boosting steel production, increasing coal and iron ore output, and promoting the lithium mineral block auction. The state is also focused on enhancing multi-modal connectivity, including the expansion of railway networks and the development of projects like Bodhghat.
