The Sports Minister has stated that visas will be provided to Pakistani players. The Asia Cup serves as a qualifying tournament for the 2026 Hockey World Cup, featuring eight teams. Moreover, the National Sports Governance Bill is scheduled to be introduced in the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament to promote better governance in sports.
