Rahul Gandhi Criticized by Dharmendra Pradhan for Odisha Remarks

Dharmendra Pradhan, the Union Education Minister, has accused Rahul Gandhi of disrespecting Odisha’s culture during his recent visit. Pradhan expressed that Gandhi should have apologized for the historical actions of the Congress party. He criticized Gandhi’s actions regarding the ‘khandua pata,’ a sacred cloth. Pradhan mentioned that Gandhi’s actions showed a lack of knowledge and respect for Odia culture. He also addressed Gandhi’s accusations against the Odisha government and Gautam Adani. In a separate event, Pradhan attended the birth centenary celebration of the writer Bidyutprabha Devi in Bhubaneswar. He praised the Odisha Sahitya Akademi and the Odia community for organizing the event and highlighted the significance of promoting the Odia language using modern technology.
