The police in Narayanpur district, Chhattisgarh, have recorded a major success in their anti-Naxal operations. Two female Naxalites, identified as Paro Hapka and Sunita, also known as Sangeeta Mandavi, were arrested. Both were active within the Kutul LOS (Local Operating Squad) of the Maoist Mad Division. The arrests took place within the Kohkameta police station limits. The apprehended individuals were involved in multiple activities, including the expansion of the ‘Jantana Sarkar,’ recruitment efforts, the spread of Maoist principles, and plotting attacks against the police. A significant quantity of arms and explosives was also recovered during the operation. The recovered arsenal included a 12-bore BGL launcher gun, two BGL bombs, one tiffin bomb, a detonator, 24 pencil cells, and other electronic equipment. The police action is viewed as a significant achievement in the Naxal-affected area.
