The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has unveiled a new institutional plot scheme specifically designed for the establishment of schools, colleges, and universities. This initiative aims to strengthen educational infrastructure in the YEIDA area, which is situated near the Noida International Airport. The deadline for submitting applications is July 31. The scheme features a total of 15 plots. Ten plots are allocated for schools (up to class 12) and are located in Sectors 17, 18, 20, and 22E, with plot sizes ranging from 8,000 to 14,100 square meters. The remaining five plots are larger and are reserved for higher education institutions such as universities, medical and engineering colleges, and management institutes, and residential colleges. These plots are situated in Sectors 17A, 13, and 22E, with areas between 27,000 and 83,000 square meters. The reserve prices for these plots start from Rs 13 crore and go up to Rs 105 crore for the largest plot. The application process opened on July 1. The list of eligible applicants will be released on August 28, followed by the final allotment via e-auction on September 4. The goal is to make the YEIDA area a significant institutional center. Interested parties can find detailed information, eligibility criteria, and application instructions on the official YEIDA website. YEIDA is also planning to introduce more schemes for residential, industrial, commercial, and other business uses in the future. The YEIDA area encompasses approximately 2.5 lakh hectares along the 165 km Yamuna Expressway and is involved in urban and industrial development across six districts.
