Raipur, July 6, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid tribute to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the great educationist, vibrant nationalist and the one who infused national consciousness in the Indian masses, on his birth anniversary. Chief Minister Shri Sai, at his residence office, offered floral tributes to the photograph of Dr. Mukherjee, remembered his invaluable contribution and expressed his views on his contribution.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the life of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is a symbol of patriotism, selfless service and indomitable commitment to Akhand Bharat. He was a visionary politician, a sharp thinker and a strong supporter of education, social justice and national unity. His principles and work still inspire all of us to serve the nation.
The Chief Minister said that Dr. Mukherjee’s struggle for the unity and sovereignty of India is recorded as a golden chapter in Indian history. His sacrifice will continue to inspire future generations to take a pledge to build a strong India. He said that Dr. Mukherjee’s dream was of a self-reliant, empowered and glorious India, which we have to follow his ideals continuously to realize.
Shri Sai said that Dr. Mukherjee, by laying the foundation of ideological clarity and principled politics, gave a new direction to Indian democracy. His ideas are still relevant and are playing the role of a guide in the development of the nation. It will be a true tribute to him to incorporate Dr. Mukherjee’s ideas and values into our conduct. The Chief Minister called upon all citizens to take inspiration from his ideals and make joint efforts for the construction of a prosperous, self-respecting and capable India.
