A brutal murder took place in Mongra Basti, under the jurisdiction of Bankimongra police station in Korba. Ashwini Pathak, also known as Pintu, a 40-year-old resident of Ayodhyapuri-Jailgaon, was found dead with stab wounds. The incident occurred near the Bhusaripara sub-station. The dog squad and forensic team were called to the scene to gather evidence. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter thoroughly. Authorities are also questioning the victim’s family and friends and are reviewing CCTV footage to find clues. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
