Jaishankar: India’s Firm Stance Against Terrorism and Nuclear Coercion

During an interview, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar articulated India’s resolute position on terrorism, declaring that India would not be swayed by nuclear blackmail. His remarks were made in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Jaishankar pointed out that India has been a victim of terrorism for the last four decades. He highlighted the gravity of attacks such as the Mumbai and Parliament attacks, showing the severe impact of terrorism. He further emphasized the need for a unified global front against terrorism. India’s resolve is demonstrated through measures such as targeted strikes against terrorist infrastructure. Jaishankar stated that India will not allow nuclear threats to prevent a response to cross-border attacks.
