A husband in Bhagalpur, Bihar, has been accused of stabbing his wife eight times. The victim’s mother has made several claims about the situation. The mother stated that the husband had numerous affairs, with as many as twelve girlfriends. She also revealed that the husband was demanding money, specifically 5 lakh rupees, from his wife to open a gym. When the money was not given, the husband attacked his wife. The incident occurred in the Jogser police station area. The injured woman is identified as Sanjula Kumari (27). The family claims the husband called her back from picking up the children from school and then attacked her with the help of his family. After the beating, an attempt was made to hang her. The woman’s brother alleges that his sister witnessed the husband in compromising situations with other women. The mother added that her son-in-law sought a divorce and wanted to remarry. The medical facility also faced criticism, as the victim reportedly waited for half an hour for treatment due to a lack of electricity.
