The districts under the alert are Angul, Balangir, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kalahandi, Keonjhar, Khurda, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Puri, Rayagada, and Sundargarh. The weather forecast, issued at 10 am, suggests that these areas will likely experience very heavy rain, accompanied by light thunder, lightning, and wind speeds potentially reaching 30 kmph within the next three hours.
