    Rajnath Singh, speaking at the SCO Defence Ministers’ meeting in China, criticized countries that support terrorism and employ it as a tool of policy. He emphasized that such actions undermine regional peace and security. Singh highlighted the need for the SCO to take a firm stand against nations providing shelter to terrorists. He also discussed India’s approach to combating terrorism, mentioning Operation Sindoor as a response to cross-border attacks. Singh acknowledged the challenges facing the region, including the weakening of multilateral systems and the rise of radicalization, extremism, and terrorism. He also expressed gratitude to China and welcomed Belarus to the SCO.
