A disturbing incident of rape has been reported in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, involving a minor girl. The accused entered her home while she was alone, silenced her by forcing a cloth into her mouth, and then carried out the sexual assault before fleeing the scene. The incident has caused widespread alarm in the area.
The event took place on Friday in a village under the Piyar police station. The victim was alone as her family members were away for work. The suspect, identified as Mohammad Mubarak (19), who was staying at his maternal grandparent’s house, entered her residence and locked the door from inside. He then attempted to rape the girl, and when she raised an alarm, he gagged her with a cloth.
After the assault, the brother of the victim arrived, and the perpetrator attacked him before escaping. The family immediately filed a complaint with the police, seeking the immediate arrest of the suspect and demanding severe punishment. The community is also demanding swift justice.
Police are actively pursuing the suspect, as stated by Piyar Police Station Officer Pankaj Yadav. An FIR has been lodged based on the girl’s complaint, and raids are underway to locate the accused. The police are aiming to arrest the culprit quickly.
