    Applause Entertainment is producing a new series, *The Hunt: The Rajiv Gandhi Assassination Case*, that will explore the events following the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. The series is based on Anirudhya Mitra’s book *Ninety Days: The True Story of the Hunt for Rajiv Gandhi’s Assassin* and will provide an in-depth look at the investigation. The series aims to provide a detailed view of how the CBI’s Special Investigation Team investigated the assassination plot. The director of the project is Nagesh Kukunoor and it is scheduled to release on SonyLiv beginning July 4th.
