Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has launched a major initiative to strengthen law and order in Bihar by handing over 618 new vehicles to the state police force. These include 520 four-wheelers and 98 two-wheelers, intended to boost the police’s operational efficiency and mobility. The event saw the presence of Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha. During the ceremony, CM Kumar reiterated the government’s dedication to public safety, stating that the provision of modern resources is crucial for creating a safer environment. He highlighted that the new vehicles would expand police patrols, accelerate response times, and improve coverage across all areas. He also urged authorities to ensure the effective use of the new equipment, stressing the need for the police to maintain public trust through responsible and efficient service. This enhancement is intended to improve emergency response and streamline crime control. The inauguration began with Director General of Police Vinay Kumar presenting a green plant to the Chief Minister.
