Hero is preparing to introduce the Vida VX2, a new electric scooter, on July 1st. The VX2 is expected to have a different design and features compared to the existing V2 models. It is designed to be more affordable and shares the same fundamental platform as the V2 models. The VX2 has been spotted at dealerships, offering a look at its conventional and subtle design. Despite the new exterior, internal components like the battery and motor will be shared, ensuring cost-effectiveness. The V2 Lite currently starts at Rs 74,000, and the V2 Pro goes up to Rs 1.20 lakh. The VX2’s pricing is yet to be revealed, but it’s anticipated to be aggressively priced. Leaked information suggests different VX2 variants. The VX2 is also expected to have front disc brakes, telescopic suspension, and a digital dashboard with a joystick and an SOS button. The battery is likely to come in different sizes, mirroring the V2, with a 2.2 kWh battery pack for the base variant and a 3.4 kWh battery for the top-spec model. The motor will be a permanent magnet type, with a lower output than the V2.
