Jharkhand, Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren today gave a big gift to the people of the state on World Environment Day.
He inaugurated the four-lane flyover / elevated path-cum-ROB project from Sirmatoli Chowk via Rajendra Chowk to Mecon roundabout, built with the latest technology, and dedicated it to the people of the state. The Chief Minister announced to name this flyover after the son of Jharkhand, late Kartik Oraon ji. The Chief Minister gave the message of environmental protection by planting a sapling in the World Environment Day celebrations at Van Bhawan, Doranda, Ranchi. The Chief Minister prayed at the Sirmatoli Sarna Sthal and wished for the all-round development, happiness, prosperity and peace of the state.
The effect of the Chief Minister’s efforts towards making the capital Ranchi free from traffic jams is visible
The Chief Minister said that the government is committed to the systematic development of cities. In this direction, many schemes have been implemented, and many schemes will be implemented soon. He said that the government is continuously working to get rid of traffic jams in the capital Ranchi. With the opening of this flyover, the residents of the capital will get relief from traffic jams to a great extent. This will ease the traffic system and will save fuel along with time in transportation.
Fulfilling responsibility towards the people of the state
The Chief Minister said that our government has received great support from you. In such a situation, our government is fulfilling its responsibilities towards the people of the state with full sensitivity. Being a responsible government, we are implementing action plans keeping in mind the interests of every person, class, community and section from city to village, so that we can take this state forward with full strength. In this episode, while many steps have been taken to provide better education to the children, women empowerment is being promoted through the Chief Minister Mainiya Samman Yojana. There are many more such schemes, through which efforts are continuously being made to empower the people.
Emphasis on adopting the good system of other countries and states
The Chief Minister said that it is not appropriate to compare our state with any country and state. Every country has its own different systems, environment, lifestyle and atmosphere, which is not appropriate to implement in our state. But, we can adopt the better system of that place according to the environment, needs and circumstances of our state.
Jharkhand is the state of heroes and brave women
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is the land of heroes and brave women. Our ancestors had participated enthusiastically in the freedom struggle of the country. Many personalities of our state were also included in the Constitution Drafting Committee. In such a situation, the tradition of giving respect to these brave martyrs and personalities will never stop.
Today the environment is a big challenge for the whole world
The Chief Minister said that today the environment is being tampered with continuously. This attack on the environment is becoming a threat to human life and animals. Today the environment has become a matter of concern for the whole world. If we do not come forward in the direction of environmental protection, then no one can stop us from facing its serious consequences. In such a situation, we all have to make efforts together to save the environment.
Efforts have to be made to increase forests
The Chief Minister said that nature is directly related to our lives. Only if the environment is safe, then human life and other living creatures will be safe. In such a situation, efforts have to be made to increase forests. He told the people that for this, if we all plant just one tree each, then definitely we will see a change and it will prove to be very decisive for the environment.
The name of Jharkhand itself is a symbol of greenery
The Chief Minister said that the name of Jharkhand itself is a symbol of greenery. Water, forest and land are the identity of this state. Not only this, through some medium or the other, we have been protecting the environment for centuries.
