A violent confrontation between traffic police and auto drivers in Ranchi has left one officer with critical injuries. The incident occurred at Kathal Mod, under the Nagri police station area. Reports indicate that the auto drivers initiated the assault, using stones to attack the traffic officers. One officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, suffered a head injury and has been admitted to RIMS hospital for treatment. The attack was caught on video, which is now circulating widely on social media. Police are actively seeking to arrest the auto drivers responsible for the assault, and the Traffic SP has assured that strict measures will be taken against them. The investigation is being handled by the in-charge of the Nagri police station.
