Chaos erupted in Ranchi when traffic police officers were attacked by auto-rickshaw drivers, resulting in one officer sustaining critical injuries. The incident happened at Kathal Mod, under the jurisdiction of Nagri police station. According to initial reports, the auto drivers launched a stone-pelting attack on the traffic police. One officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, suffered a serious head injury and was immediately taken to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for treatment. A video of the assault has surfaced online, depicting the violent confrontation. Authorities have launched a search for the perpetrators, and the Ranchi Traffic SP has pledged to bring the culprits to justice. The Nagri police station is overseeing the investigation. The video shows the auto drivers aggressively attacking the traffic police and the officers using batons in self-defense. The video clearly shows an auto driver hitting a police officer with a stone, which caused the officer to fall.
